CROSS VENTILATION

CROSS VENTILATION

In cross ventilation, some fans are located along the side wall, while air inlets are placed along the opposite wall. This ventilation system is suitable for poultry houses of considerable width and constitutes a valuable and cheaper alternative to roof ventilation in cold climatic areas. Lately, cross ventilation has been replaced by tunnel ventilation, with special air inlets installed in the head wall in case the poultry house is particularly wide.
